Silverwood Deep Fluted Flans make the most luscious flans, tarts and quiches because the extra depth enables more filling to be used. They are ideal with vegetarian-style dishes where the filling can be quite bulky (with a conventional flan tin, the pastry/filling ratio may give a dryish flan). Handcrafted using traditional techniques in our signature anodised Aluminium, the excellent conductivity allows the pastry to be cooked to a crisp perfection and the loose base enables easy removal.
